Very unique, one-of-a-kind Dianthus with blue-green foliage outlined with a creamy white margin. This 'Edgehog' is accessorized with a hot pink, semi-double bloom. This sport of Dianthus 'Starry Night' was discovered in 2010 at GET Group, Inc. & Hoffie Nursery, Inc. in Union, IL Great cut flower, bring the wonderful scent indoors. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. Can be used as a ground cover, along paths or in rock gardens. Our trial garden plantings in Union, IL have proven the winter hardiness of this plant.
