This is an intraspecies hybrid of Salvia nemorosa pollinated by Salvia amplexicaulis. The leaves are slightly wider than Salvia nemorosa varieties. Blue-green, typical foliage and deep violet-purple flower spikes. Deer and rabbit resistant. Attracts butterflies.
